Dot Line's Quick Focus Handle, in red, is a very affordable alternative to a follow-focus. It easily wraps around your lens and provides a neat way of adjusting focus or zoom when you're shooting. In fact, you can wrap one around the focus ring and one around the zoom ring, if your lens is big enough to support both. And they come in red and black, so you can have one of each attached to differentiate between focus and zoom.

The strap is flexible and features a knurled interior that securely grabs the lens ring. It's adjustable from 70mm to 89mm in diameter and compatible with most DSLR lenses.

When you're shooting on a tripod, and you try to adjust focus with just your fingers, you'll at least slightly budge the camera, but with this handle, you can just gently push the tip up or down and highly reduce camera movement.

Quick Focus Handle (Red) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a good job. I use this to make wedding videos on my Canon 6D. For the price it is great! It is secure on the focus ring and holds very well. The handle is long enough to grasp easily and quickly and short enough not to get in the way. I can easily visually make reference points for far and near focus points simply by noting a point along the lens circumference for each. That's easier and just as accurate and making actual marks on the lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful It works, but it has one design problem: Reaching for the handle, it can easily twist to the side rather than moving only in a circular motion. This can give an awkward beginning to your shift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for the price - possible durability issue? I'm using this on the 'electronic' focus ring of my Sigma 50-500 zoom. For this use it is quite good - though it probably wouldn't hold up to the much stiffer zoom ring. I knocked one star off since I'm not sure how durable it will be. The strap that attaches the lever to the lens works well, but seems lightweight hence perhaps not very long-lived. I hope I can update this next year saying otherwise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inexpensive Focus Handle This product works great on the Focus ring, but is too flimsy for the zoom ring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inexpensive Focus Handle Great for Focus ring, too flimsy for zoom ring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little invention! As a user of DSLR gear used primarily for video, i found it very defficult to create zoom ins/outs manually. be it on a tripod or not. This quick focus handle came in handy in my last video shoot. I was able to zoom in/out quickly without having to fumble to reach the lens during a fast changing scene/shot. surprisingly it came out good. Once has to practice to get the smooth movement fromt he different lenses.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from simple and low cost I use it as a zoom handle on my Canon 100-400mm zoom. Tramping around in the woods in a Minnesota winter you need to wear thick gloves. Gloves make the zoom hard to feel and grasp. When something pops out of the brush I slide the handle between my fingers and easily zoom in either direction. They do tend to fall off without notice. This is the second one I am purchasing
