Vivitar X029 overview

  • 1Description

The grape-colored Vivitar ViviCam X029-12 Digital Camera features a 12 MP CMOS sensor and a fixed 7mm f/3.0 lens. This allows it to capture quality photographs in a variety of situations.

For shooting and reviewing images, a 2.7" TFT LCD display is available. The screen will let you easily compose images and see how images will look before you shoot. Also, the camera features 4x digital zoom to give you a little more reach when needed.

This camera also has a built-in flash for low-light shooting. This works with a red-eye reduction mode for shooting portraits. When you can't use a flash, there is an Anti-Shake function that reduces the impact of blur on handheld photographs. You can also use a tripod via the 1/4"-20 tripod thread on the base.

For storing images, this camera has 8MB of internal memory and can support SD cards up to 32GB in size. It operates on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and includes an AC adapter, USB cable, wrist strap, and a software CD.

Face detection will allow your camera to more easily focus on people in portraits
Self-timer function allows for setting a 2, 5, or, 10-second delay before taking a photo
Anti-Shake technology reduces blur while you are handholding the camera in low-light conditions
Compatible with PictBridge-capable printers, you can print directly from the camera via the PictBridge menu
Multi Snapshot mode takes a series of 5 images for capturing fast-moving scenes, like sports
Vivitar Experience Image Manager software is included with the camera for transferring and editing images from the camera on your computer
