The Magenta Research MultiView II AK1200DP-A UTP CATX Receiver extends audio, 1920 x 1200 video, and serial signals over standard CAT5, CAT5e, and CAT6 cables up to 1,200’ (366m). Compatible with all MultiView building block components, this receiver features improved sync management, handling, and streamlined fourth pair options for serial signals. It also has an external configuration scheme that gives you total control over the unit, facilitating setup and improving replication of 1080p and higher resolution videos.

This receiver combines the left and right audio channels from a stereo source into one channel and transmits it to both the left and right speakers. In addition to video and audio transmission, it can also be configured to transmit serial signals instead of audio. It also has user-configurable settings for audio, video, and serial options, which can be configured from the front panel.

Equipped with distance equalization based on digitally controlled Complex State Variable Filter technology, the AK1200DP-A Receiver delivers good image and sound quality across the entire supported distance range. It can even be daisy-chained with up to 12 compatible MultiView receivers to extend the range and coverage area.
