Magenta Research VG-TX2-MM-VGA-ISA Overview

The Voyager VG-TX2-MM-VGA-ISA 2-Port Transmitter from Magenta Research accepts any type of analog video (RGBHV, component, S-Video, or composite) signals as input and converts the output to crisp 1080p digital signals for use with a Voyager HDMI or DVI Receiver (sold separately). It can also handle analog audio and duplex (two-way) RS-232 signals. Additionally, using the MaGUI software, the analog audio input can be infused into the HDMI output stream if a Voyager HDMI Receiver is utilized.

The Voyager 2-Port Transmitter comes with a multi-mode fiber-optic module, and additional modules can be used to cascade signals to a second Voyager transmitter or to distribute signals to multiple Voyager receivers (additional modules sold separately). The transmitter's range can be increased to up to 18.75 mi by using it with optional single-mode fiber optic modules. A power supply is also bundled with this unit.
