Kawai KDP90 overview

  • 1Description

The KDP90 from Kawai is a cabinet-styled digital piano featuring authentic grand piano sounds, electric pianos, and an assortment of general sounds, such as strings, etc., perfect for anyone on a budget who desires a quality digital piano. Its 88-keys utilize the company's AHAIV-F Graded-hammer Action for an authentic feel, while the sounds are generated using Harmonic Imaging. The cabinet features built in amplifiers and speakers, and sports a rosewood finish.

The KDP90 offers an easy to use three-song recorder, perfect for self-evaluation of keyboard performances or for capturing a moment of inspiration. The 192 note polyphony means that even dense passages do not trigger muted voices. Built-in Alfred Piano lessons features lesson songs and the company's Concert magic adds a unique way for anyone to enjoy playing the piano, even if they've never played before. The cabinet features three pedals -soft, sostenuto, and damper (with half-damper capability) and a sliding key cover helps protect the keyboard when not in use.
