The SD/HD/3G-SDI Video, Power, & Data RS-485 Transmission over Coax Kit from AAS includes the HD-SDE-VDT Transmitter for connecting to the camera and the HD-SDE-VDR Receiver for connecting to the DVR. This transmitter-receiver pair is designed to extend SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI signal transmissions over coaxial cables. This kit supports 14 types of SMPTE-compliant HD formats (1.485 Gb/s, 1.485/1.001 Gb/s). Plus, they also equalize and re-clock the input video signal and distribute it to 2 identical channels. The transmission distance can be easily extended up to 600’ (200m) for HD-SDI video signals.

Adaptive Equalizer returns the signal to its original amplitude and modulation
Re-clocking function resynchronizes the signal
Cable driver retransmits the signal with its original characteristics
Data and power can be transmitted from the recorder side to the camera over the coax cable
Up to 7 repeaters (sold separately) may be powered from the coax cable 1
