The HD-SDE-VDP Repeater for SD/HD/3G-SDI Video + Power + Data RS-485 Transmission over Coax Kit from AAS supports transmission distance of up to 600’ (200m) with a data rate of 1.5 Gb/s. It supports 14 types of SMPTE-compliant HD formats (1.485 Gb/s, 1.485/1.001 Gb/s). This repeater equalizes as well as re-clocks the input HD-SDI video signal and distributes it to 2 identical channels.

Adaptive Equalizer returns the signal to its original amplitude and modulation
Re-clocking function resynchronizes the signal
Cable driver retransmits the signal with its original characteristics
Data and power can be transmitted from the recorder side to the camera over the coax cable
Up to 7 repeaters (sold separately) may be powered from the coax cable 1
Maximum cable length (Belden 1694A) up to 1,300' (400m) for SD - SDI signal, 600' (200m) for HD-SDI and 450' (140m) for 3G - SDI signals
