Is this compatible with Atomos Ninja V?
Asked by: Fariz
The latest spec sheet from the atomos site (via "download ninja" from supported drives) says that the 1TB WD Blue will support prores raw 6K. They didn't list the 2TB version. The download sheet for the shogun7 does have a red dot for CDNG raw for the 1TB, but the legend says red dots are "failed/untested", so it could be that it was just untested. Especially since there was a green dot for CDNG for the 500TB version.

Would this work with the old Blackmagic Production Camera 4K shooting RAW?

According to the literature on the Black Magic Design Production 4K camera, "The built-in recorder utilizes removable 2.5" SSDs, which enable the high data rates required by RAW and 880Mbps ProRes HQ." This SSD will work.

Why does B&H think "Storage Vibration" is a spec buyers really need to see VS actual Manufacture Part #?
Asked by: Richard
"Operating Vibration" and "Non-operating Vibration" are specs provided by WD via their datasheet - we do our best to present specifications as provided by manufacturers.. The manufacturer part # is also presented directly under the name of the product on our webstore listing - it appears after "BH #" and shown as "MFR #."
