The Sub Phatty Monophonic Analog Synthesizer from Moog is a 25-key programmable monophonic analog synthesizer that is designed for bass, but not limited to that application. It is powered by two variable waveshape oscillators and a square wave sub oscillator that produces a tone one octave lower than oscillator one. Its sound engine is rounded out by a noise generator for producing percussive tones and effects.
Moog's Multidrive section allows you to add tones ranging from subtle warmth to snarling distortion based on your settings. The Sub Phatty also provides a variety of modulation sources and destinations, as well as a Moog ladder filter to alter and shape your sounds. The synth has both 5-pin DIN and USB MIDI connectivity, in addition to a downloaded plug-in or stand alone software editor.
