question

I have a Sigma 150-500 lens and a Tiffen Professional Circular Polarizer 86C. Will this screw into the polarizer and does it cause vignetting?
Asked by: Anonymous
I bought this hood to attach to the front of the Genustech Eclipse 82mm ND Fader filter. The hood fits the threads on the front of the Genustech filter & does not vignette. I just tried the hood on a tiffen 82mm circular polarizer & it does not fit. It seems that the front threads on the genustech filter are 86mm and the front threads on my tiffen circular polarizer are probably 84mm. (I can fit the Tiffen polarizer inside the front threads of the Genustech filter.)
