Corsair 750D overview

  • 1Description

The Obsidian Series 750D Full Tower ATX Case from Corsair is a full-tower desktop computer case featuring nine expansion slots, two modular drive cages each capable of housing three 3.5" or 2.5" drives, four sideways mounted tool-free dedicated SSD cages, and room for up to eight fans. While this case has the room for up to eight fans, it already comes equipped with three 140 mm AF140L fans to keep things cool.

On the exterior of the case you will find two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports to connect a variety of peripherals as well as one headphone and one microphone jack. The brushed aluminum and steel exterior of this case makes it not only durable but nice to look at. The side panel windows allows you to show off your hardware while the integrated thumb screws make swapping out parts simple.

The Room You Need
Nine PCI-E expansion slots support double and triple GPUs. There's room for up to ten drives, and four USB ports on the brushed aluminum front panel.
Your System, Your Cooling
The three included Corsair AF140L high-airflow 140 mm intake and exhaust fans are custom engineered to deliver enhanced airflow with less unnecessary turbulence and noise. You can mount up to eight fans, with room for dual radiators on the bottom, front, and top.
Take Control of Your Storage
There are four separate mounting locations for the drive cages, and if you're moving to 100% solid-state, you can remove the 3.5" cages entirely and use the four side-mounted 2.5" cages.
Designed for Fast, Straightforward Builds
The side panels and expansion slots use thumb screws, and storage installation is tool-free. A center-post standoff holds the motherboard in place while you secure it, and the dust filters are easily accessible and removable. The innovative cable routing system has multiple cutouts with rubber grommets for superior airflow and a cleaner look, and the CPU backplate cutout lets you install or upgrade your CPU cooling without removing the motherboard.

    Corsair 750D reviews

Obsidian Series 750D Full Tower ATX Case is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, Professional, Spacious, Quiet and Efficient If you're like me and looking more towards a simple case, and not some over-the-top alien inspired case, with LED's and crazy plastic angle's and grill covers, then look no further than the 750D. Not only does this case have the sleek aluminum design, it has more space than one knows what to do with. If you're picky about chord organization, then this is what you need, with Mobo plate cutouts that have grommets, you'll be able to tuck those pesky chords away with ease and comfort knowing they wont be sliced by the rim. Has a front panel for the dual intake 140mm corsair fans that can be placed for quiet low-load convenience, or removed for efficient performance intake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first case purchase was a good one The case is very spacious and has good cable management. The manual was helpful for a first time builder in getting cables plugged into the correct places. The only reason a star is taken off (and I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could) is because the right magnetic latch on the front cover (which covers the front case fans) is broken on my case. I'm sure it's just one of those things, and it's not enough to make me send it back, but it's still a thing. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the case, but packaging could be better. I really underestimated the size of this case as it's the case for my first computer build. It has a lot of space which I love. Heavier than I expected but I don't mind. The only thing I disliked is that the packaging could be better, I think something broke on mines on the bottom, because when I turned it to the side some small pieces of plastic fell off and I don't think that's suppose to happen. Other than that love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Nice Case The cable control part of this case is a real selling point, especially with the windowed side. Comes with three built in fans, which is a money saver as well. When installing your motherboard, you will have trouble screwing it in unless you use the backplate - do that and the screws drop straight in. The outer thumbscrews work well, but the interior ones end up needing a screwdriver anyway. The front panel works well - no issues with the header or the buttons and their associated wiring. The cages for the drives (optical and hard disk) are very, very nice, and it comes with some adapters for SSD placement as well, which is a nice touch. Overall, I am very satisfied with this case, other then as I said some disappointment with the interior thumbscrews, and the inability to hide the cabling to the graphics card on a MicroATX card.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Case, Aesthetically Balanced This is a very nice looking case, and even overclockers can find a lot of utility in this sleek design. Its fun yet professional, and thats a tough balance to find these days outside of Corsair. Just a couple of complaints about this case. 1. The Power Button Is Terrible The design and feel and sort of clunky response from the odd shape, make this one of my least favorite power buttons. 2. I know its odd to find them in the modern computing age, but removable mother board trays still hold a lot of appeal for me. Its just more pleasant to build on. 3. The cooling it comes with, leaves something to be desired vs similarly priced models. 4. It seems the design could be shrunk down and still achieve all the functionality and have better airflow. If youre into more discreet cases or smaller installs, look elsewhere. Ive built a few computers in this case and its great. You won't be upset by purchasing this one. Often cases become annoying to look at after a while so, its a bigger importance than you'd think.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pricing, Great Company Love this product, plenty of room for upgrading with fans, made for water cooling, and I have no problem with it. Not the quietest but that's what you should know prior to buying this case. Amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Case! I built my own computer and this case is awesome. Everything had a place and I love that you can see into it. Would buy it again and again!
