Fujinon designed this lens with a a versatile, 20x zoom range covering focal length range of 8.5mm at the wide end all the way to 170mm at the telephoto end. The wide 8.5mm focal length allows you to keep multiple subjects in the frame while the 170mm focal length allows for focusing on a single subject. The zoom, focus, and iris controls are accessible via separately available analog remote control.
