    Antec NSK3180 reviews

NSK3180 microATX and Mini-ITX Enclosure (Black) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty decent case I started using this case when the Antec NSK4482 quit being made about 6 months ago. And even though this 3180 is not quite as nice they are still pretty decent. The PS is more than good enough for most builds and the case is not too bad to work in. It has an extremely quiet rear fan on the back which is very important to me. My computers have to be as close to silent as possible and this case does that. I build about 50-100 computers a year and I have been extremely happy with the NSK44XX family and used about 500-600 of those over the last few years but now that they are not being made anymore so I started using this NSK3180 and have used about 25-30 of them. This NSK3180 is good enough to work for what I am looking for and at a decent price. Note that this case will NOT use a full ATX motherboard like the 448X series and will only use a Micro ATX MB. HOWEVER, this case is apparently not being made anymore either and they have just released the last of them so this review is probably a moot point. Get one if you can. At this price point for what they do, it is a pretty decent case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice case for Micro ATX Have built 7 computers with full ATX on-board P/S Antec cases. This was my first Micro ATX job and just had to go with Antec. I made the right choice. And, their P/S's have never failed me in all these years / cases. Manufacturer on-board P/S is always my first choice. 380 watts is more than plenty for an office setup, even with a small GPU. Case has two places to mount on floor of case and one in lower removable section. I drilled a couple mounting holes for a second drive in that lower removable section. Drives now sit very close. No, there is not hidden routing spaces for cables, but I've never felt a need for that feature. And, because I still use an optical drive occationally, all my builds include that feature with provided bay. I demand USB3.0 front ports and Antec delivers. Virtually all new motherboards provide a plug-in port for 2 x USB3.0 with a single shot. Quick and easy. Notice the rear case covers for additional MOBO ports are modular...they are indivigually held in with a screw. No 'knock outs' here. First class. Easy to close back up. The 4 inch removable hole in the front of case allows those with special readers etc. to bulkhead that device...offers some flexibility, I guess. No more 1.44Mb floppy drives are used...legacy users use external USB floppy readers. Antec provided a place for an 80mm secondary case fan on the lower inside front of the case. I easily mounted one, just because I could. Gave me the tandem 'push / pull' effect for cooling...but was not necessary. No heat built up with my G3258 CPU under moderate load (no GPU). Case was hardly available as of this review date and prices have risen (80). But I'd willingly buy at a bit higher price point because the value to ME. If price got to (90) or so, I'd do something different.
