USB 3.0 to DisplayPort External Video Card Multi-Monitor Adapter is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally got what I was after. The ASUS cinema display wouldn't do 1:1 over the entire 29.5 screen, so I ended up with a 22.5 screen in a 29.5 frame. This StarTech USB adapter gives me the entire screen in 1:1, so my graphics work is not distorted. (ps: ASUS support is laughably inadequate. No one understood what the problem was even after I sent pics). The only shortcoming is that it doesn't support live scaling and StarTech says it doesn't like GL or hardware acceleration, though I haven't had any issues with either. This is a great work-around for the limitations of the Intel HD 4000 card in the Mini, and the shortcomings of the ASUS display (and tech support).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've been impressed at how well it works My use for this is to drive 2 of my 3 Dell 27 monitors. I needed something that could handle the 2560x1440 resolution. This is the only one I could find that could do it. Once I got through a few of the quirks it seems to be working very well. The two parts I had issue with were the initial driver install doesn't follow the screen shots that I found and gives you no idea that it's done. Hint you need to see two almost identical pop ups come up and close. The second issue I had is they don't show up in the screen settings area until you get the cables plugged in. I didn't have the Display Port cable firmly into the display, and hence it wouldn't connect. On the connection topic, the USB connector doesn't connect very robustly. The connection and the setup are the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I'm using it with a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1, performance and color quality so far have been very good. Docking and undocking have been working about as good as you could hope for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job! Needed the adapter for decent resolution on a large screen connected to my laptop which only has a single HDMI output port. So I can now have 2 large screens at high resolution connected to my laptop.
