    Tera Grand HD-VE430 reviews

HDMI Extender is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works as described A bit pricey but does a serviceable job of extending HDMI signal via CAT5e cabling. My installation has about 75' of in-wall CAT5e cable plus wall jacks and patch cables at each end. Seems to work OK without the power supply on the receiver end. Documentation doesn't specify why/when it's needed. LED lights are bright and can be distracting depending on placement. No way to disable them (although duct tape works :-)).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mostly worked. I won't lie. I was very of disappointed in this product. I purchased 2 sets of these and a switch for a convention. I was hoping to run a signal from the stage, and from there connect it to a switch at my booth along with one from my computer back at the booth. From there, I ran the second one from my booth to the projector. I had issues with the switch first off. So I tried to patch the 2 extenders together when needed. But what I got back was static, like you see on old TVs. I ended up dragging the one from the booth to the stage to use it. However the static would sometimes happen with this device as well. One of the transmitter HDMI ports actually broke off inside the transmitter. For both of these, I was using 2 brand new 50-foot Cat-6 Ethernet Cables (4 for both of these) with known good 3' HDMI cables on either end. In the future, I may look into purchasing something a bit more professional product for this setup. This one just didn't cut it for me.
