  • 1Description

The Behringer Europort MPA40BT-Pro All-In-One Portable Bluetooth Enabled PA System is designed for live sound reinforcement applications. The speaker can be powered by an AC power cord or by the built-in rechargeable battery with a run time of up to twelve hours and four LED status indicator lights. For energy management, it utilizes a low consumption switching power supply.

The unit features an 8" full range woofer that is powered by 40W of Class D amplification. A built-in 2.4 GHz Bluetooth receiver allows you to stream music to the PA system from smartphones, tablets, computers, and other Bluetooth enabled devices. You can also connect up to two Behringer ULM Wireless Microphones using the PA system's USB wireless port and a compatible ULM USB Wireless Microphone Receiver key (sold separately).

For wired connections, the unit features two XLR microphone inputs with independent level controls. The system comes with one wired dynamic microphone and microphone cable. The PA also features an Aux RCA input pair with independent level control for connecting to a line level source such as a CD player. The output control for the unit features bass and treble controls as well as a knob for adjusting the master output level. A built in 35mm socket on the bottom of the speaker enables mounting the unit on a stand.

For portability, the pro version of the PA system features built-in rolling wheels and an extendable handle.

    Behringer MPA40BT-PRO reviews

Europort MPA40BT-Pro All-In-One Portable Bluetooth Enabled PA System is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've purchased 6 so far, how do YOU think I like em? This product has no weakness, it's ALL upside. Great volume and quality for the size, weight and price. VERY versatile, not overly burdened with inputs, but for what I use em for I don't need them. We buy them to let musicians in Memphis rent them for a small fee and busk on the streets with em. They all seem to like them a lot. There are perhaps half a dozen similar products out now with more on the way. But none like THIS. Finally Behringer gets to take a prize away from the 'big guys'. A very nice effort on their part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for. I use this at a University as an instant PA. The Bluetooth mic is a little clumsy until you get the hang of the volume control, but works great. Plenty of volume. I use it for sound reinforcement in lecture halls when needed as well as live events. Perfectly suited for any type of spoken word performance and for streaming music. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for professional sound, but for announcing the start of a 5K run and playing music for the crowd, YES. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value and quality I really like this speaker. It's inexpensive and really did the job at our recent apple picking company event. Bluetooth, 2 mic input, usb also. it's very loud, good quality and easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect PA System It works very well and it boosts your voice to make it as authoritive as you'd like. It has controls that boost base or treble to your liking or the characteristics of different rooms. Everything is well placed. It could use better wheels. While they may be perfect for indoors (hotel room, carpet etc.) they are not the type that do well outdoors (sidewalk). They are too soft and too small. The wheels, a plus, did not make a difference on the performance satisfaction which was stellar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown away with clarity and strength of sound Using it in a smaller auditorium for maybe 35 people. Ended up being overkill but with the ability to speak, play, move, take outside, and tear up some ear drums, this unit is astounding. If you even blink at not getting this unit you have made a mistake. I recently used it in a 1200 seat gymnasium as a backup and it was plenty loud and clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An awesome all-purpose all-in-one I got this speaker for use with an electronic instrument but it is good for so much more. I use it when practicing because I can hook my phone up via Bluetooth for a metronome sound and hook my instrument up with a guitar cable and hear both at the same time. It is also great for when I have friends over at my apartment. We can hook a phone up to it with Bluetooth and have music as loud as we want (within the dB limit at the apartment) without distortion and it can even get loud enough to use outdoors. The only thing I'd say isn't the best quality is the included mic. I wish they'd included one with a detachable XLR cable rather than one with a built in guitar cable. But that's minor and I don't think anyone buys this speaker for the included mic, so that won't detract from the overall rating. The battery can last 12 hours if you don't turn it up. If you use it outdoors or in a rehearsal where there are more instruments, expect 6-10 hours depending on volume level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, cheap, portable Its best use is for a lecturer, not a singer or musician, or as a satelite speaker to another space. . Its only a 40 watt output. Battery operation seems to diminish rapidly at high volume levels and even faster when the usb antenna for Berhingers wireless HH is more of a drain and it can easily drop out at peaks. I use it at church to place our music feed outside the front of the church. It works well for a low quality application like that on a busy street that is geared to getting a simple sound into a space that does not require detail or high quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Bang for your buck! I've got to admit I was a little concerned at all the folks who said how powerful this little diddy was compared to it's size. But I recently used it to DJ and vocally perform at a 25th Anniversary celebration for a room of about 100 guests with a huge dance floor and I don't think I ever powered it up past 50% and it was plenty loud and clear enough. Very lightweight and easy to use. I ran a L/R line into each mic port from a mackie 12 channel mixer so I could get effects for my microphone when I was singing. No distortion and great sound for cost and size. I only wish it had a carry case/protective bag for when not in use or (as it rained the day I used it) to carry around by hand if necessary. I do wish I could daisy chain with second speaker but that's not a deal breaker for me. I'll probably by a second one for true stereo.
