This Underwater Housing from Nimar is a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with your Canon EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera, a.k.a. EOS 100D. It has a depth rating of 197', and features a moisture alarm that alerts you to any breach in the waterproof seal. Mechanical controls afford access to virtually all camera functions, including on/off, shutter, sprint, main control ring, ring selection, ISO, AE lock / FE / index reduction, AF point selection, magnification, set, live view, video recording, navigation buttons, white balance selection, select button, picture style, drive mode selection, AF mode selection, and the quick control button. The controls are manufactured from chromed brass.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the watertight seal and the camera. A flat port for the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM zoom lens and the 50mm and 60mm prime lenses is supplied. Additional, interchangeable ports for a broad array of wide-angle, fisheye, macro, and zoom lenses are available separately. For full compatibility, see Port Chart.
A removable, anodized aluminum tray/bracket with grip handles is included, offering comfort and improved handling beneath the surface. T-mounts on top of the handles provide mounting points for lighting arms, which are available separately. Dual built-in fiber-optic cable ports and an optional, manual Nikonos sync cord connector enable the attachment of optional cables for external flash units, which must also be purchased separately. The camera's built-in flash is usable within the housing and can trigger an external strobe as a slave unit when a fiber-optic cable is used. Additionally, the housing features a removable optical viewfinder with 1.5x magnification.
