    Lexar 64GB Reviews

    64GB SDXC Memory Card Professional Class 10 600x UHS-I is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay. The only issue I have with this card, and I docked it 2 stars just for this, is that while the card is listed as having a max write speed of 45MB/s, in testing (Blackmagic Disc Speed Test) I'm only getting around 18MB/s sustained writing speed. So my card is slower than I expected. Not a deal breaker, but I probably won't buy another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Enough for You? This card is great for my purposes, however I am not shooting frames endlessly without breaks in between. For those who need a better idea of how fast the card is, I did the following tests: - D800 with grip, shooting in RAW uncompressed, shot 1 image, and then took 4.5 seconds till the camera buffer was empty. - D800 with grip, shooting in RAW uncompressed, shot 16 images, and then took 30 seconds till the camera buffer was empty. Conclusion: If you need to shoot more than a dozen frames in succession, then you might want to look for another option other than this SD card. If you are using it as a backup to another card, such as a CF card, it has not failed me yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slow write speed=frustration on location I searched for a quick memory card that could allow me to shoot several action pictures in rapid succession. I was frustrated by missed photos while waiting on my camera to process the previous picture. The Lexar 600x has a write speed of 45 MB, a mid-range speed in the spectrum of 10 MB to 90 MB for some brands of memory cards. Other brands offer the 90 MB write speed at the same price as this 45 MB Lexar but their reviews are mixed with some complaints.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Serves its purpose...but slow. Moved from Canon to Nikon and acquired a pair of D750's so I unfortunately had to resort to SD cards. Heard good things about these so I pulled the trigger on quite a few then realized they are some of the slowest writing cards on the market. One photograph with either backup with raw or raw+jpeg would take extremely long. Being a wedding photograph time is very very important. Nailing the exposure but also hosting a quick preview in an adequate amount of time is very important to me. These cards take well over 3 seconds. Every second counts in weddings and I will be returning back to Sandisk for better write speeds. I suggest these for non-commercial photographers doing a small amount of portrait work or ameteurs. I would not suggest these cards for wedding, sports or photographers in need of information in an instant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from another B & H purchase I have been dealing with B & H photo for the last 20 years. And their service and delivery schedule is superb their product line is extensive and their pricing is almost always better than the competitor. This small purchase is yet another B&H purchase big or small doesn't matter, there is always a timely delivery with a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast This is used as an overflow card on a Nikon D810. It handles the 36MB files quickly. I don't shoot than 7 in a bracket at times and it handles everything well. I shoot a lot of Lexar cards in a D300, D700, D7100 and the D810. I have never had an issue.
