The white Samsung 32GB Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2" Wi-Fi Tablet delivers powerful on-the-go performance. This tablet houses a 12.2" multi-touch TFT display with a native WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution. For robust processing, the Exynos 5 Octa chipset is onboard, which consists of a quad-core A15 1.9 GHz CPU and a second quad-core A7 1.3 GHz CPU. The Galaxy Tab Pro also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. Storage capacity can be expanded by an additional 64GB via the tablet's microSDXC card slot. The tablet also has a micro-USB 3.0 interface for charging and mass-storage connections; a USB cable and power adapter are included.

The user-interface on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro includes enhancements for customization and usability. The built-in Magazine UX feature allows you to create a magazine-inspired homescreen for viewing articles and organizing content. There's also a Multi-Window feature that encourages multi-tasking by allowing you to view up to 4 windows at the same time.

Bluetooth 4.0 is built-in for wireless communication with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, along with Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet access. There are also dual cameras built-in; the rear 8.0MP camera is accompanied by a LED flash for capturing photos in low-light situations. There's even an integrated IR blaster for controlling infrared devices. GPS with GLONASS is also built-in for Google location and map services.

Enhanced Multi-Window

    Will the Samsung 32GB Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 Wi-Fi Tablet (White) B&H # SAGTP12232W MFR # SM-T9000ZWAXAR work as a normal GPS or does it require another chip or wi fi?

    It works the same way as any dedicated GPS devise (Garmin, Tom Tom). However, just like those GPS devises, the Tablet needs maps installed to be useful for navigation. It comes only with Google Maps app. installed which requires wifi to download map information. Good news: once an area of interest is browsed in the Google Maps app., it is stored on the tablet and can be used for navigation without wifi on. Points of Interest can be saved on the Google map only when wifi is connected. There are number alternatives to the Google maple, like popular Sygic app. I tried it, and loved. This app turned a tablet into a real GPS devise with routing, but one needs to purchase maps. I use Sygic when maps are available, and Google Maps for countries for which there is no maps, like Ecuador. I stopped using my Garmin completely after I used a Tablet for the first time. For people who do a lot of backpacking I recommend purchasing a 10 tablet. I do a lot of city navigation on foot, and country backpacking, and 12.2 tablet proved to be overkill. It is not too heavy, but is much more conspicuous, and requires a big bag or a backpack to be carried around. Make sure screen is high resolution better for map reading.

    How does this Samsung Galaxy tablet synchronize with Microsoft outlook?

    It depends on the email account type you have. If you're using Outlook online, Gmail, Yahoo or other web based email accounts, you can probably find an app for this account in the Play Store. If you're using an older POP mail account, you can configure the built-in Email app. Just make sure to update the settings in Outlook on your computer to delete the emails from the server only after a day or two.
