    Canon 9626B002AA reviews

CT-V1 Wireless Pan Cradle is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Neat idea, limited application Picked this up for a church-wide video feed together with the Canon vixia HF R50. The challenge is that it only works with the two recording+streaming functions, which I knew. Here's what Canon doesn't tell you. 1. It lags like you wouldn't believe. I'd be willing to trade a lot of live video quality for more responsiveness. 2. When in one of the streaming modes the HDMI out doesn't work. 3. Streaming only works with auto and baby modes. It works, just don't expect to be able to use all the features of the camera or to quickly move the camera around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for One man videography I am an independent videographer and I can't always be near the video camera to zoom in or pan this device saves me from being near the camera and gives me more flexibility in terms of where I stand and sit and without being in people's way. This is especially important when being a venue where space is limited and there is only room for a camera and a tripod and no longer have to worry about blocking people's view. I like the fact the cradle can run both on battery and on external power.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its So Good That Canon doesn't even... We bought this thinking that for $ that this was a great find. However the product is so great that Canon doesn't have it listed anywhere on their site and it took a long time to actually find the app to run it on and when you do finally download the app the GUI is really bad! A for effort but a 5 year old could make a better looking interface.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money The pan function is severely delayed when operating it remotely or locally from the phone. The tilt function is a manual adjust. Nice toy, and had lots of potential. This is just a extremely poor implementation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for professional use but good enough for this price This thing does what it says - wireless controlled panning (with manual tilt). There is 2 sec delay for each panning command and you are only allowed to give the next command after previous command is finished so the panning is not smooth. I guess this is the limitation of the SW. I tried both iOS and Android app and both behave the same.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great brand, bad design Sad to say it but this is my first ever negative review for a Canon product. The features are nice for the price, but the operation and design is flawed. It doesn't perform the most primary function - pan smoothly. The panning motion is jerky, even on a solid surface or a stable tripod. I took several videos with it and each time the panning motion would skip and jump. The Android app works nicely and the connectivity is well thought-out, but the basic pan feature needs to be redesigned so that it works fluidly.
