The Gitzo GC1101 Padded Tripod Bag is designed for Series 0 and 1 Mountaineer tripods, but will also hold tripod/head combinations up to 25" with folded legs. The rip-stop nylon material protects your tripod from abrasions and incidental contact. The bag features a cylindrical design and is accessed via two full-length zippers. Portability is via two interlocking touch-fastened top-carry handles that are stitched to the exterior and encircle the bag for extra durability and strength. The bag also features a removable shoulder strap.

    Gitzo GC1101 reviews

GC1101 Padded Tripod Bag is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Design.....but I got this bag so I could leave my Gitzo 1545T Traveler tripod with it's Gitzo 1382QD head attached and NOT have the tripod folded where one has to loosen the center column all the way and flip the legs back over in an opposite direction. This way easier to just open the bag, flip open the legs and go. Well it fits the length just fine with an inch to spare. BUT when I go to zip the bag up man it's a major tight effort to get the zippers zipped over the central area where it turns out the lens but up against the central column. It's even more tight now I have the leg protectors installed. Oh well. Not much else to complain about. Love the design, padding, internal pouch to carry the tools and love the handle it has designed into it. Just hoping the bag stretches out in time and doesn't destroy the zipper in the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I use this bag with a Gitzo Mountaineer and Arca ball head. Best tripod bag I Have Ever owned. I sold my first photograph in 1968, so I have owned my share of bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I needed a bag for my gitzo 5541 monopod with RRS monopod head attached. This fit perfectly within this bag. Nice build quality durable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive and not designed for ball head I ordered this along with a Gitzo Mountaineer Series 1. I'm very impressed with the tripod but it actually came with a small bag already. The GC1101 is a nicer bag, but I don't feel it is worth the price. Furthermore, it's not long enough to handle the tripod with a ball head attached. This means removing the ball head prior to transport, or having the ball head stick out of the bag. Not overly impressed.
