This LCD Screen Protector Ultra from Vello is a sheet of ultra-thin (0.02") optical glass used to safeguard the LCD monitor of the Olympus E-M5 camera. It easily adheres to the screen via static, without trapping air bubbles, and if removed, won't leave a sticky residue behind. Multiple layers of protective material shield your display from dirt, scratches, sweat, smears, and light impact. The shatter-proof glass blocks UV rays while allowing visible light in. Additionally, the protector enables touchscreen operation. It can be easily cleaned using the supplied microfiber cloth and wet wipe.

LCD Screen Protector Ultra for Olympus E-M5 Camera is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but be aware only complaint is that the LCD panel will not close fully meaning the thickness of the protector is too thick, impeding closure of the panel. When placing the protector on the screen, move it as far left as it will go/fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality item, could be a bit bigger on my OM-D EM-5 Mark II Nice quality screen protector for my Olympus OM-D EM-5 Mark II. This glass screen protector looks excellent. One of the best things about this protector is that it comes with everything required for anyone to install it flawlessly (a wet nap to wipe the screen, a micro-fiber towel, 2 pieces of tape to remove dust, and a mini spatula). With all of these items in the kit i was easily able to install the screen protector perfectly. The only complaint i have is that there is that the protector could be a little bigger. Horizontally it could be about 1mm wider and vertically it could be about 2mm taller. This being said, i'm not sure if it was designed this way or if the screen on my EM-5 Mark II is slightly larger than the EM-5 Mark I. Before i placed the order, I contacted B&H and they told me that this was the screen protector that I needed for my camera, and that the screen size on the Mark II was the same size as the original EM-5 so i'm not sure exactly. Even with the small perimeter of unprotected screen, i'm very happy with the quality of this item and am hopeful that it is going to protect my screen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay, but it doesn't fit very well. Installation was easy and it comes with lots of cleaning materials. The protector allows all touch screen functions. My biggest complaint is that it does not allow the screen to fold back toward the camera and latch securely. My secondary complaint is that it does not cover the entire screen. So, no matter how careful you are the protector always looks a little off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good and nice looking protector. I have been using other film type protector for my OM-D E-M5 2 years. But it has worn, and needed to replace. Then, I found this Vello protector. I think this is perfect protector. Easy to install and very durable. The touch screen function works. Very good transparency, and nice looking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Screen protector I purchased two of these previously. One was for my OM D EM10 and OM D EM1. Those screen protectors fit the back viewing/menu screen perfectly from edge to edge. I waited for the screen for the EM5 MarkII until it was back in stock or had been delivered to B&H. The screen protector covers about 95% of the rear menu/viewing screen. The other two covered 100%. I can live with the screen because it protects the most used portions; however, it does not look like the others...which look like they were part of the camera because you cannot tell that they are attached. This is a drawback. These screens are great because attaching them is simple and there is no bubble underneath any of the screen. The screen does the job and looks like a piece of glass--not plastic (because I believe it is thin glass). it is a bit pricey but is worth it because I had nothing but problems with the cheaper type protectors and how they looked and would wear after a period of time. These screen look as good as the day they were applied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally something that works After trying a number of the film devices for lcd protection, with mixed success and much frustration, I finally decided to try a rigid cover. What a pleasure -- went on without any bubbles or snags, and is beautifully clear. An excellent solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for Olympus E-M5 ll Easy to deploy. Easier than films that can trap bubbles. Touch screen works. Does not interfere with operation or movement of LCD screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'll be glad I bought this Easy to use, just read and follow simple directions. After my last camera's LCD was practically ruined, I am protecting this one.
