    Fujifilm 16421311 reviews

Leather Case for the X100/ X100S Cameras (Black) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed protection It's relatively easy to produce the camera on the fly. I have two filters on the lense (one with removed glass, and one with intact glass - to protect the lense while giving it room to zoom. The case does close over both filters (if you give a little squeeze to the top and bottom of the case allowing the magnet to engage, it works just fine). I'm thinking it might not close around a thumb rest but my priority is protecting the camera. I did look at 2nd party cases which were beautiful and well crafted but decided to go with this one. I find this case to be nice in that it serves it's purpose perfectly in protecting my camera. It looks good too. Done shopping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very tight fit for X100T The case is well made, but is too tight on the X100T. With a filter on the lens (and no lens hood) the case doesn't close. Without a filter (and no lens hood) the case shuts, but only marginally such that the magnetic clip that keeps the front section on does not have a secure fit. I can't comment on whether it works better on an X100S, but do not buy if you are looking for a case for the X100T. I am going to look to return mine to B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case -happy I bought it! I am a semi-pro with various camera set-ups (Large format film and DSLR) and love them for my shoots. I am used to carrying a lot of gear - in hard cases, rolling bags and shoulder bags. I chose the x100T for a grab and go camera where I don't have to carry ANY kind of bag - just the camera itself - and I love it! I was concerned about knocking the camera around and the thick yet smooth leather case protects the camera well, whether the full case (when I park the camera for a spell next to me at a restaurant) or just the bottom half while over my shoulder or in hand. With the case on I found changing the battery or card easy and quick with the flap provided. I have used the camera every day for three weeks now and I am solidly happy with my decision to get the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Case for the Brave (or Lucky) The case is a good match for the X100T and fits snug at all points. I bought it thinking it might work with the minimal adaptor and low profile Hoya filter I use to protect the lens. It almost fits but not easily enough to make that a working combination without putting stress on the lens or case. The best use is for the basic camera, with the lens cap, and nothing else. The brave users abhor the use of any filter and will like this case as-is. Personally, I would have preferred that the lens portion had a bellows arrangement so that it could expand a little bit for a protective filter. Maybe someday I'll muster the courage to carry it around naked but too cautious for now. BTW, the strap is the same length as the one that comes with the camera, though slightly nicer. My preference is a few inches longer for cross body carrying and switched to the OP/TECH mirrorless strap instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Provides good protection This is a good quality case, that offers a lot of protection to the camera. Makes it easy to stick in another bag and not worry about it. I would have given a 5 if there was access to the tripod screw. Because of that I'm not certain if I am going to keep the case or not. I use it for a Gordy's sling strap as well as my tripod for long exposures. I may end up keeping it to use for protection when traveling, although there are many cheaper alternatives. If you don't use a tripod often, then this case may be perfect for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slick case After reviewing many genuine leather cases for the X100T, I choose the Fujifilm offering. I not only wanted to avoid an over-priced aftermarket item, but also to take the guesswork out of the equation in terms of proper fit and form. Sometimes staying proprietary is best and Fujifilm's own leather case provides just the right touches I was looking for. Not only are the top and bottom (detatchable) leather componets included, but also a kneck strap as well. Very satisfied with Fujifilm's accessories.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fujifilm X100T Leather Case This case is good for protecting the X100T camera in transit, but there are two design problems. The cover does fit over the lens when there is an adapter and filter, as well as the lens cap on the lens, but it fits with difficulty and not perfectly (there's a gap where the cover should meet the body and the magnetic snap just catches). And unlike the old ever-ready cases which allowed the cover to hang on while shooting, the X100T, like all modern digital cameras, has its back exposed for all the controls, so there seems to be no way to design this case to hang on easily while shooting. But the case is worth it for the protection it affords the camera when not in use and the bottom part that stays on the camera affords a slightly better grip when in use. I do not use the strap it comes with, because I rededicated the strap made by Kameraleder of Los Angeles (no longer in business) that came with the Konica Hexar case. That case was exquisitely finished and perfectly functional and the leather was softer. But kudos to Fujifilm for their decent attempt at crafts-ship.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great leather case compliments my x100s Was a little concern reading the reviews of this item, mainly due to the size of the upper cover. But, I took a chance and it is working great. I have a B+W filter with an adapter ring and the top cover snaps in. I knocked off a start because Fuji should have made it bigger for the popular hood even from the x100 series. They had a few years. Otherwise, the leather is quality and for the price vs. the competing products is a good value IMHO.
