No, the Olympus LC-37C will not work if placed on the thread of a filter, it will only work when mounted directly on the lens.

That is correct. You cannot attach a threaded filter to this lens cap. Other than that limitation, I really love the item and am using it on the Panasonic 12-32.

It should - it is the lens powering down that works it. I have mine on a PL-3 and it works fine It should work on any PEN or OMD camera
