As its name suggests, the 0.5"-thin lens resembles a camera's body cap for a sleek overall profile. Despite its small size, the lens features a pair of aspherical elements to help achieve notable sharpness and well-controlled distortion, and a manual focus lever permits switching between Deep Focus and Close-Up shooting positions.

Unique 9mm f/8 fisheye lens offers an 18mm equivalent focal length, and an expansive 140° angle of view, on Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras.
Extremely slim body cap design measures just 0.5"-thick.
Two aspherical elements are used to reduce spherical aberrations and control distortion for notable sharpness and clarity.
Manual focus lever can be set to the Deep Focus position for working with distant subjects, or to the Close-Up position for working with subjects as close as 7.9" away.

do i have to change setting on my om-d to perform well? or i just put the lens on? because in panasonic they have a shoot w/out lens setting, i saw it on youtube.

Unlike other manufacturers,there is mo special Setting required when using a Body cap lens on OM-D bodies.

There is no need for a lens cap since the manual focus lever also acts as a protective cover for the elements when moved to the closed position.

This lens covers a MFT sensor. The diagonal of an MFT sensor is 21.64 mm. The diagonal of the BMPCC Super 16 sensor is 14.33mm. I say you are good.

As others have stated - minimum focusing distance is measured from the film or sensor plane. Someone else said they would not recommend because the lens has a lot of distortion - that's true - but that is actually a characteristic of fisheye lenses - and it is actually why people buy such lens in the first place - for creative effect.
