AKG C111 LP Reviews

1Pastor loves this mic- but short life b/4 intermittent

Fantastic mic, great price, Pastor of our church loves it! Really feedback resistant even when in front of Klipsch hi end speakers in sanctuary. Only one problem...life expectancy not that great and don't think repairable. We developed an intermittent condition somewhere in the headset--don't think it was in the connector-think it was in the wire or where mic connects to boom. Low cost to replace though. Gonna have one our sound guys look it over and see where fault might be---if we can fix will keep for a spare.

I was looking for a affordable wireless handsfree microphone and decided to pair this with an AKG WMS 40 Mini Wireless Instrument System, the result is a incredible fidelity sound wich helps me tremendously with my job making my voice reach more people without any distortion!. It goes practically unnoticable. It looks so elegant and delicate, yet it is very strong. I love the pouch that comes with the microphone.

Ear hook mic mated to Perception Wireless system

I have a pair of the Perception Wireless Sports sets (headset) which wraps around the back of the head. It's really a serious headset, and may make some presenters balk at it. It sounds FABULOUS. Now, I also have a pair of these ear hook CP111 series headsets and they are not nearly as high gain. It sounds good, but I want to warn you up front that this ear hook headset is difficult if not IMPOSSIBLE to fit on some people's ear. It just plain doesn't fit, period. For some folks, it fits perfectly. For others, you have to bend and form it. But for SOME users, it just won't fit, period, and you're going to be extremely frustrated if this is your only option. At that point, your only choice is to TAPE it to the presenter's face with a band-aid, and some folks just don't appreciate that.

Used in a conference with 500 attendees. No problems. I had frequency issues in the room and I just switched to a different channel. Worked great.
