  • 1Description

This Brinno TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera Kit from B&H Photo bundles the TLC200 Pro camera with its compatible ATH120 Weather-Resistant Housing and a wall mount with tripod screw and ball joint for tilting. You'll be ready to start shooting outdoors worry-free with your TLC200 Pro, knowing it's protected against the elements.

The TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Video Camera from Brinno performs time-lapse photography and instantly creates HD videos at 1280 x 720 resolution from the captured still images. No stitching or other post-processing is required. Choose a time interval of 0.3 sec or select one of many intervals from 1 sec - 24 hr to see change over time. The 1.3MP, 1/3", High Dynamic Range (HDR) image sensor helps produce great shots with high contrast.

The camera accepts interchangeable CS mount lenses, including the supplied 19mm (35mm equivalent) wide-angle lens, which offers a fast f/2.0 aperture for effective low-light shooting and shallow depth-of-field effects. Additionally, the TLC200 Pro features a 1.44" TFT LCD monitor and is supplied with a 4GB SDHC memory card. With the optional Eye-Fi Pro X2 SD memory card, you can wirelessly transfer your time-lapse videos over a network.

The Weather-Resistant Housing protects your investment against the elements while affording easy access to controls. It's clear to allow for easy monitoring of the watertight seal, and features a built-in, flat lens port that does not distort the angle of view or reduce the clarity of the lens.

Brinno TLC200 Pro Reviews

TLC200 Pro HDR Time Lapse Camera Kit with Weather-Resistant Housing and Wall Mount is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great little tool Once u get to know this camera's interface it is truly amazing what it can do. I use it to monitor a construction site. Up on a 2x4 boom swing pole that I made to give my some 16'height. I've set the start time & day end time to conserve card space & battery life and develop and swop cards every 3 days.I had a slight learning curve to get the time lapse just right. For me it is one minute @ 10 frames. Download the manual & experiment. It is all there. So far so good after some 15 days of time lapse. The image quality at better is more than enough. Best must be awesome. Normal will also be OK but I want footage for video.Yes I would recommend it for ease of use alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile, Reliable, Long Run Times, Good Image Quality Have used it to record several construction projects start to finish. The image quality is good, interface is easy to learn, settings are remarkably versatile. Depending on photo frequency and quality, can set it up and forget it for entire project duration. At one photo every 10 seconds, we've left it in place for two weeks. Have also set it to every 30 seconds. I prefer the higher frequency. For the cost, I don't worry about it being stolen, although none of the crews have ever notices it, due in part to our installing it high in a tree to get a good vantage point. Have recommended it to many in my field. Based on prior research, the Pro is worth the extra money though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WiFi may not work properly Great camera, but it should be made clear this camera does not have WiFi. The only way to use WiFi with this camera is by using a Mobi Pro eyefi SD card. That being said, however, the eyefi wireless SD card compatibility is not a guarantee. I spoke with a representative from eyefi and was told that Hunting and Game cameras often do not work well with our products, and the Brinno cameras look to be similar in some ways. Typically the issue is that the cameras do not provide enough power for our cards to upload. I have also read reviews stating that there may be issues where, when using an eyefi card, the camera will lock-up and may require restart. So, WiFi is iffy at best. If you really need WiFi capabilities, go with the GoPro. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works as advertised We are using the camera for pictures of the sunset from our home. The nice feature is that we can set the camera to take pictures at a set time each night so we get the shots even when we are not home. It is also nice that it has an available water tight case so we can leave it on a tri-pod outside. The biggest issue is the difficultly focusing the camera. The screen is small and it is a manual focus that requires loosening a screw, adjusting focus and then re-tightening the screw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very satisfied with the Brinno TLC200 Pro. This time lapse camera works as advertised. I needed a camera with a moderately wide angle lens, that could operate for weeks without servicing. Controls to lock down color balance and exposure are helpful. Video output is fine for website use. Overall a good value.

question

How many photos/frames will fit on a 32gb card? Trying to figure out how many cards I would need or a 6mo projet at 1 photo every 15 minutes.
Asked by: Anonymous
Looks like in a 6mo shoot your going to be taking 96 shots per day, use 183 days for 6mo time and multiply. Now we have 17568 shots total required for your project. According to the TLC200 Pro manual there are 3 different quality settings.Using a 4gb card (quoting the manual) at the Good setting you can take 30,000 photos, at the Better setting you can take 20,000 photos, at the Best setting you can take 14,000 photos which would fall short of your needs. So a 32gb card would allow you to take 240,000 Good 160,000 Better or 112,000 Best photos
