The black Ultralight Camera Cover 20 from Mind Shift Gear is a lightly padded, lightweight way to cover your pro DSLR and a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens with hood reversed. Your lens can be stored either pointed outwards from your body or facing downwards. A weather-resistant flap protects your camera/lens combo from inclement conditions.

The cover features an integrated waist belt with quick-release coupler as well as a top carry handle. The belt can be used together with your original camera strap for additional support. An adjustable front bungee cord allows you to store a variety of lens and camera sizes. When not in use, this cover compresses to a small size for easy storage. The cover is made from 100D ripstop and 210D velocity nylon.

Ultralight Camera Cover 20 (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from incog carry I will be going on a trip and wanted to carry the camera in a more discreet manner in the city and stores and this allows me to do so. It is meant to be light and portable and this fits my purpose. I made adjustments so the belt will take most of the weight off of the strap around my neck. I also have Mindshift's Panorama but the fanny pack on it's own felt a little too bulky to use by itself, so I prefer to use it as it was intended as part of the pack. Some have commented that the belt it does not provide enough support, but I think it was designed as a lightweight camera cover, and I feel it accomplishes this mission. There is some light padding that provides some protection without adding bulk. Access to the camera is quick and easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works with my Canon Rebel T2i and Sigma 18-250mm Used this on my 6 day backpack trip in the Sawtooth wilderness and it worked just like I had hoped. I ended up running my camera strap through the sternum belt which relieved the pressure on my shoulder and used the camera cover's waist belt. When I dropped my pack the camera stayed hooded to me. It is not heavily padded, so don't bang the camera around. It was pretty easy to get the camera in and out. The only issue is that the inside cord was a little bothersom to get it to stay inside the bag when cinched up. It did great to keep the trail dust off of my camera. Overall it is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal Lightweight Design This is an outstanding camera cover for travel and general use. I like to have something covering my Canon 6D especially when hiking and travelling. Lightweight camera bags work okay but they have more bulk than necessary and access to your camera is not as quick as I would like. The Mind Shift camera solves these issues and it weights almost nothing. Access is instantaneous. A belt strap holds the camera in place when walking and holds is at the ready after you remove the camera. This cover fits my needs exactly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but I'm still looking for perfect I like the weight and feel of this cover, and, while it may be the best thing that I have tried for a lightweight holster-type protective cover, it still leaves something to be desired-- The belt is good but I would like something that seems a bit sturdier in order to not sag so much on the camera holster side. Also, I can't say that the buckle gives me the 100% security that it will not easily slip and come unbuckled and dump my camera to the ground (as I keep my hand under the holster when I'm walking in order to protect against that eventuality). The pocket that stores the belt will likely leave others feeling as I do -- I don't think you will spend time stuffing the belt into the pocket even if planning a trip (as ultimately it saves no space). I would prefer a more useful pocket with a zipper (or Velcro) for carrying small items securely. I will likely use the pocket to store one of those $1 package raincovers for emergencies. This Cover 20 size is good for a DSLR w/ lens attached that is up to 105mm, but I would not suggest carrying anything longer as it could possibly allow the camera w/lens to slip out/fall even if strapped as securely as possible. Get the next larger size for DSLR w/ longer lenses. I'm still dreaming of the perfect lightweight, comfortable, skin-like camera holster(s) that are not bulky and box-like and dorky (as most if not all camera holsters are now).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product ! This is a great super light weight bag for walking around for the day. This size bag fits my d810 with grip and RRS L bracket. The bag is tight with my 100 mm macro lens. It works great with my 50 mm. It packs up into itself what a great idea. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made protective cover I bought this product to protect my camera from getting scratched and or dirty by items in my bag when traveling. It is put together very well and with a little effort, it folds back into its back pocket. The only thing I don't like is that the adjustable strap slides too easily and doesn't lock in place. My camera is large but fit easily with a 24-105 lens attached. The drawstring cinch makes my camera feel protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wll made bag I purchased this bag for lightweight camera protection in a day pack. It fits the camera well and has only light padding which will reduce weight. I have yet to get a chance to use it, but it looks like it should work well. There is a waist strap and the bag allows use of the camera's neck strap which should be nice for hiking. It folds inside the outside pocket for compact storage when not in use.
