The Azden WDM-PRO Dual-Channel VHF Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier and Cardioid Handheld Microphone System is a cost-effective audio solution designed to help vloggers and content creators improve the audio quality in DSLR- or mirrorless-camera video productions.
The lightweight, portable WDM-PRO features a dual-channel receiver that lets you use two microphones simultaneously for a wide variety of applications, including 2-person interviews, man-on-the-street interviews, web videos, and more.
The system includes a bodypack transmitter with an EX-503 lavalier microphone that can be clipped to clothing, close to the speaker's mouth for a rich, present sound—far superior to the sound you get from the phone's built-in mic when shooting video. Also included is a WM/T-PRO dynamic handheld transmitter/microphone with a cardioid pick up pattern, ideal for man-on-the-street interviews in noisy environments.
The WDM-PRO offers a range of 250' and two selectable VHF frequencies. The receiver's output plugs right into the audio input on your camera using the supplied cable.
The bodypack transmitter runs on a 9V battery, the handheld transmitter on a single AA, and the receiver on two AAs, for up to 8 hours of shooting time. The receiver includes a shoemount and a hook-and-loop tape to mount and fasten it to your camera. It also comes with a headphone jack and earphone for real-time monitoring.
A maximum of one WDM-PRO wireless system can be operated on set if both channels are being used simultaneously.
