Works fine. Easier to keep the 2 batteries for my P900 charged without having to put them in the camera. Too bad Nikon didn't have one of these included with the camera instead of the wall wart.

Can the charger be safely used (no damage to charger or battery) in Europe (220V) without a converter?
Yes, the MH-67P can be used in Europe without a converter, however, you will need a plug tip adapter, such as the Watson APK International Adapter Plug Kit: http://bhpho.to/1pkil9z

Will this work with the EN-EL 20a battery that comes Cool pic 1000?
The Nikon MH-67P Battery Charger is not compatible with EN-EL 20a batteries.

This isn't listed as a charger for Coolpix P900. Wouldn't also work for this camera's batteries. The P900 uses the same battery, correct?
I suggest you contact the manufacturer or call Nikon at 1-800-nikonusa and ask if the batteries are the same. I have a P600 so I wouldnt know.

No USB plug. Has regular electrical outlet plug. If you want to charge via USB, connect camera to computer.

When charging a battery, the light on the charger never turns green. Is steady orange an indication that the battery is fully charged?
Sorry of the delay. I placed a completely empty EN-EL23 (not used for two years) into my MH-67P charger. During charging an orange light blinked. When the battery was full, the orange light went to constant on. I did not see a green light during any of this 4-hour process. The battery was fully charged.

Before I buy the MH-67P charger, I want to verify it is correct for the Nikon Coolpix B700 camera. The camera battery that came with the camera reads Nikon Lithium Ion Battery Pack EN-El23 . Is the MH-67P the correct charger for the battery with the Nikon Coolpix B700 camera?
As far as I know yes, it will work. I purchased it for a Coolpix P900 and it uses the same EN-EI23 battery. The only concern I would have is if you are using aftermarket batteries.
