Asked by: meg
No, the 7-14 mm is not too big for M5. We use ours on an even smaller PenF. This is a pro lens and has very nice optics. We use ours for star photography.

Hi. I have not yet bought a filter holder. But the Haida M15 filter holder can be used with this lens. There are other filter holders available for this lens as well. For example, Lee filter holder. And a few others.

Aside from the extra 2mm at the wide end and the 2.8 aperture, is the IQ discernibly better than the 9-14 M.Zuiko? Thanks
Asked by: Aniell
If you are referring to the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4-5.6 Lens, B&H # OL91840, then yes this lens is of a much higher quality. It has a constant aperture F/2.8 through out the focal range and is considered one of the Pro lenses. It has betters optics and overall build quality.

question

Hi. Is this 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO lens compatible with Olympus PT-EP13 underwater housing ?
Asked by: Kuki B.
No way. For such a short focal length and for being m4:3, this lens is quite large. That's due to it being a Pro level lens and having a wide constant aperture.

question

Does this lens zoom internally? Meaning does the barrel of the lens extend when zoomed?
Asked by: Lane
The lens zooms internally with the front element moving within the lens shade. It is a quite bulbous element though so it does require a little care in use. Its a very sharp lens, and Ive been very happy with the purchase.

question

Does this lens have built in image stabilization that can be used with the GH5's IBIS?
Asked by: Lane
There is no stabilization built into the lense. Even though the lense will work on a Panasonic body, I don't know if Panasonic's in body stabilization will work with this lense. That being said, this is a great lense and has rapidly become one of my favorite lenses to use.
