I-Torch TM-M67 overview

  • 1Description

This M67 Flip Adapter from I-Torch is compatible with underwater camera housings with lens ports that have standard 67mm diameter threads. It provides a convenient way to use 67mm accessory conversion lenses, which are usually of the macro or wide-angle variety. You mount an M67 mount conversion lens, which has standard 67mm diameter threads, to the flip adapter, then mount the adapter to the lens port on the housing and flip back and forth between lens and no lens--without having to remove and reattach the lens. Built for durability, the adapter is constructed from anodized aluminum.

I-Torch TM-M67 reviews

M67 Flip Adapter for Accessory Lenses on 67mm Housing Ports is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good solid piece of kit I use this is on the front of the Olympus PT050 dive housing with the XZ-1 compact camera. On the surface and down to 35ft or 50ft with strobes I need no filter. Beyond this depth I use an Orange/red filter to compensate for the excessive blue tones, for macro images the filter needs to be removed again. It is a pain to screw and unscrew the filter from the front of the housing, and there is an additional risk of scratching the filter or even dropping it. This is a great tool for flipping the filter in and out of place as the need dictates. The multiple holes around the rim allow for the flip mechanism to be aligned with the threads on the housing to within a few degrees and the slot at the bottom ensures that the housing, adapter, filter doesn't come apart by accident if you use a tether. The flip action was a bit loose but an Allen key and pliers worked fine. All in all great.
