The Vortex 1x30 StrikeFire II Bright Red Dot Sight with Cantilever Mount is an unmagnified optic designed for quick target acquisition and tracking from dawn to dusk. The sight has a 4 MOA bright red dot with ten brightness levels, two of which work with night vision, for easy aiming on your target. All of the optics are also parallax free and are multi-coated for increasing light transmission. This sight also has unlimited eye relief for rapid target acquisition.

The sight features 1/2 MOA shot correction to put you on-target, with a 100 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range that lets you compensate for most terrain and conditions. Its housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance in all weather. Built-in front and rear flip-up lens covers protect the optics when not in use, and can be quickly deployed when targets present themselves. This model also includes a cantilever ring mount that positions the optic center 40mm above the base surface and attaches to a firearm via a Picatinny/Weaver mount.

1x30 StrikeFire II Bright Red Dot Sight with Cantilever Mount is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Personally, I'd go with a different optic When I first put it on my rifle I had the excitement that I had something more than a cheap red dot on there. Once that wore off I realized that I was not really happy. This particular optic has a lot blocking the field of view (I do use both eyes.) The dot holds zero and has over thousands of rounds. The mount it came with is great and has never came loose. I can't get past all the stuff in the way of my field of view on this optic tho. My friend has the Sparc AR for a red dot and it is great. Looking back on the purchase if I had it to do over today with the sparc ar for a red dot. I would not be truly satisfied until I had the Strike Eagle 1-6x24 for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged and Accurate I originally purchased this scope for my AR15 and it worked great on that gun. Now I have it on my 30-30 Marlin for quick short-range targeting for thick woods whitetail. It doesn't look right on my lever gun but wow does it work great. I bore sighted it at 50 yards and then made a few clicks to get it where I wanted it. I tested it out @ 100yds with three quick shots standing at a large tree stump. I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised when I took a closer look. A tight 3 shot group that is better than I need for whitetail. Pic attached. One thing I don't like is the caps that come with it are too tight and difficult to close. Otherwise, it would receive all 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great red dot Really easy to use and adjust red dot, very similar to other red dots with identical form factors. I went with the bright red version because I couldn't see myself really switching between a green and red dot and knowing how I use gear once I set something like that I tend to just leave it and use it in the one configuration rather than fuss with two colors. Works great only complaint is the battery housing is close to the tube mount screw so i had to go at a light angle to get the proper torque down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and Affordable This, along with the 3x magnifier, is the first red dot I have ever owned/used. After receiving this as a Christmas gift and putting a few hundred rounds through it thus far, I find little to be wrong with the optic. Its sturdy, holds zero, and above all just does its job. My only concern is with the magnifier wiggling off its rail after around 50 rounds. I blame myself for only doing a hand tight but am unsure as to why the issue doesn't exist with the red dot's cantilever mount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first dot I purchased for my rifle! This thing has been beaten and used for about 4ish years maybe more. I just recently pulled it off of my AR to swap for a Strike Eagle, and within the week the original battery finally died in the box from storage. That’s 4-5 years on one single battery! The dot is crisp, the glass is clear. This thing is solid, no bull, I’d say no frills but that’d be a lie. The NV compatibility and flip up covers are awesome. I would suggest this optic to anyone! Has served me very well!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the price The optics is super well built. I abused the living heck out of mine and it never broke. Downside is there is no place to store a second battery so when It dies halfway through a 3 gun match your hosed like I was. Plus the dot is not as crisp as some of the other stuff on the market. Ended up selling mine to a buddy who needed a close in optic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holding up great Put this optic on my tactical police AR. Easy install and zero. Great clarity and red dot definition. Have run about 1000 rounds through the rifle at the range the past couple of months and the optics have stayed true, mounts secure, etc. Have complete confidence in these optics on my duty rifle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy and simple yet reliable got this specifically form my 556 ar. it does exactly what i wanted it to do at a affordable price point, 50 yards or 450 yards it functions great and i can hit what i want, its not super heavy or bulky the different brightness setting's to fine tune for the time of day and target itself
