Designed for long-range tactical applications, Leupold's matte-black 3.5-10x40 Mark 4 LR/T M5 Riflescope features a water and fogproof housing, 30mm optical path and a TMR cosshair reticle placed on the first focal plane. The scope employs their Xtended Twilight Lens System which uses glass lens elements that are specifically engineered to be index-matched to the lens coatings to improve overall image contrast, quality, and brightness. The lenses and coatings are specifically designed to emphasize the blue/violet end of the visible spectrum, which is dominant at dawn and dusk, for enhanced low light performance. Blackened lens edges further improve image contrast by reducing internal stray light.
Complementing the advanced optical system and broad zoom range, this Mark 4 series scope is configured with a durable housing that is built to endure regular use in unforgiving conditions. The scope's 30mm one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum main-tube is weather-sealed and filled with an argon-krypton gas mixture that that provides enhanced thermal stability and fogproof protection. A twin spring-loaded erector system provides protection for the prisms to absorb recoil and prevent the optical system from moving out of calumniation. A generous 18.9 mrad windage and elevation adjustment range allows users to compensate for most terrain and conditions, while its .01 mrad/click impact point correction gets shots on-target with great precision.
