The Formatt-Hitech 67 x 85mm Neutral Density Filter Mixed Starter Kit with 48mm Adapter Ring is a complete bundle containing a 67 x 85mm soft-edge graduated neutral density 0.9 filter, a 67 x 85mm solid neutral density 0.9 filter, a 67mm aluminum filter holder, and an adapter ring to fit lenses with a filter thread diameter of 48mm. Additionally, a Filter Basics booklet is also included that gives helpful tips and practical advice on how and when to best utilize these filters.

Solid Neutral Density Filter
This 0.9 neutral density filter creates a 3 stop darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.

This filter is constructed from CR-39 optical resin to maintain image clarity while also remaining highly scratch resistant. It features chamfered corners to further contribute to durability and resistance against breakage. This filter measures 2.6 x 3.3" / 67 x 85mm.
Graduated Neutral Density Filter
This filter helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. It is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. By having only a portion of neutral density on the filter, you can selectively darken areas of an image while allowing the portion of the image within the clear section to receive the normal amount of exposure. The 0.9 density filter provides a 3 stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

Aluminum Modular Filter Holder and Adapter Ring
The included 67mm Aluminum Modular Filter Holder is designed to accommodate up to three filters at a time and can be configured to hold both glass and resin filters simultaneously. It is constructed from aluminum for added rigidity and durability and attachment to lenses is facilitated by the included 48mm Adapter Ring.
