Sunpak 6700M overview

  • 1Description

The 6700M Aluminum Monopod from Sunpak is a 4-section monopod that can hold 6.6 lb. It extends from a minimum height of 21" up to 67", and weighs just 0.8 lb. The leg sections are secured with flip locks which let you set the monopod to your desired height. The rubber foot can be twisted to reveal a spike, allowing the 6700M to grip on to various surfaces. A neoprene leg grip adds comfort when carrying the monopod, especially during extreme temperatures, while a wrist strap provides extra security when shooting.

    Sunpak 6700M reviews

6700M Aluminum Monopod is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets The Job Done I am a freelance videograher and photograpaher. I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago to use during NYFW. While, it is certainly not hte best product on the market, it gets the job done, without hassle. One thing I will note, if you have a heavier camera, I would choose a different monopod, something that gives you a better weight balance. It is fine when I use it with my Canon SL1 and an 18-55mm lens, but when I switch to a larger lens, it buckles a bit under the pressure. Based on the way its made, I can't see it lasting very long. Since, I only purchased it for short term use, it does what I need it to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, and works perfectly I use this monopod to shoot sports. I put a full frame Nikon with a battery back and a 300mm f2.8 on it and it didn't flex barely at all. I was surprised at the strength for such a low price. The extending flip latches feel a bit cheap and I think they will eventually break if not used carefully. Overall, a great product at a great price and works just as I need it to. If you plan on using a monopod more than just once in a while, then I suggest picking one that is a little more professional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice unit and best price I found. This is a nice mono pod. It was the best price I found on the internet. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 becasue I'm a little concerned about the clasps. We'll see if they hold up to a lot of use. They are a little cheap, but the rest of the materials are very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money. No, it's not carbon fiber, but it's still darned light anyway. It has a big foam grip at the top to prevent your hands from touching metal on cold days, and is comfortable to carry. I'm 6'5 and it's slightly too tall for me when fully extended if I'm angling downward with my tilt head. Very easy to make it a couple of inches shorter when necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfectly good monopod I have several tripods with various heads for photography and videography. I always wanted to try out a monopod for easy moving around. I recently bought a GoPro Hero 4 which is a blast. I use this monopod as a giant selfie stick and it's really proving great for that. It's very lightweight and manageable. Very happy with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for off camera flash at a wedding I purchased this monopod to use for my off camera flash for weddings. It works great, very light weight. I do plan on using it with my camera as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wish it would have come with a case.
