The Keyboard/Mouse Extender Local Unit from Black Box is a local unit that works with the remote unit to extend your keyboard and mouse signals in a non-powered way. You can set up your keyboard and mouse up to 350' from your CPU and monitor or display. This device is suitable for boardroom and classroom environments where you need to set up your keyboard and mouse some distance from your CPU. Simply connect the local and remote units to your equipment. Then plug in the unshielded CAT5 cable without power supplies. Use the extenders in pairs: one local unit and one remote unit. The local unit connects to a PS/2 keyboard and mouse. The remote unit connects to the PC. A USB keyboard and mouse may be connected using a USB to PS/2 adapter.
