The Black Box IC462A Component/Composite Video Balun transmits component and composite video signals over a twisted-pair cable. Without the balun, you’d have to use three coaxial cables for a simple point-to-point component connection.

In a typical application such as home theaters, conference rooms, or training centers, use a pair of this balun to connect video devices together.

Connect video devices that are spaced far apart by using UTP cables with this balun instead of coax and/or component cables 1
An easy and economical way to extend your high-resolution component or single-signal composite video equipment
Compact design for installing next to video equipment in tight spaces
For high-resolution component video (use three baluns per side to transmit all Y-PB-PR components), and up to 2200' (670.5m) for single-signal composite (NTSC, PAL, SECAM) video
Suitable for equipment connections in home theaters, conference rooms, or training centers where a UTP cable is already installed or where conduits don't allow for multiple bulky cable runs
Cable strain relief for secure connections
CE approved
