The Black Box 3-SDI Fiber Extender is a transmitter/receiver set supporting singlemode LC simplex fiber extensions up to 6.2 miles, in resolutions up to 1080p with audio and metadata. It features a local SDI loop out and dual SDI outputs and supports 3G/HD/SD SDI signals. Multimode fiber can also be used but at shorter distances.

Black Box VX-SDI-FO-10KM Overview

SDI input and output are equalized and reclocked for extended distances and reduced video jitter. Equalization enables 3G-SDI cable lengths up to 295 ft, HD-SDI up to 150 ft, and SD-SDI up to 1000 ft.
