The B&H $1,000.00 Giveaway (the "Giveaway" or "Sweepstakes") is void where prohibited by law and is sponsored by B&H Foto & Electronics Corp., 440 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10001 ("Sponsor"). Entry Period/Methods of Entry. The Sweepstakes will run from on or about November 7, 2016 until on or about December 19, 2016 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period are void. Enter the Sweepstakes via either one of the following methods. (1) Share your most wanted item on Facebook or Twitter via the dedicated links found on the B&H Website (www.bhphoto.com); or (2) Mail a postcard (postmarked during the Entry Period) containing your name, address, phone number, and email address, and indicate the subject(s), if any, about which you are interested in receiving future emails from B&H (e.g. photo, video, audio, computers, home theater, portable entertainment ) (optional) to: B&H $1,000.00 Giveaway, c/o B&H Foto & Electronics Corp., 440 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10001 (either option, an "Entry"). Entries must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Entries deemed by Sponsor to be inappropriate will be disqualified. Entries owned by a third party, or the use of any trademarks, service marks, logos, brands, or products owned by a third-party are not acceptable for entry into the Sweepstakes. Winner Selection/Prizes/Odds. The B&H Social Team will randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries every Monday during the Entry Period, for a total three (3) winners (each a "Winner"). Each Winner will receive a B&H Gift Card pre-valued in the amount of $1000.00. No cash or other substitutions will be offered. Winner selection is in the sole and absolute discretion of the B&H Social Team. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified and receive their prize to the e-mail address associated with the account to which their Entry was posted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Winners will be identified by the e-mail account associated with the Facebook or Twitter account from which their Entry was submitted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. An e-mail account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such e-mail account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with such e-mail account. Any issues regarding the identity of a Winner shall be resolved by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States that are at least eighteen (18) years of age on their entry date and is not open to employees of Sponsor, their immediate family, any person domiciled with such employees, or any affiliates or subsidiaries of Sponsor.

Entry Ownership/Entrant Agreements. Entrants retain full ownership and copyrights to their Submission. However, by entering the Sweepstakes entrants grant Sponsor permission to use their Entries for promotional purposes on their respective social media channels with proper credit.   • Rupert Neve Designs Portico 511 Mic Preamp

    The Portico 511 Mic Preamp from Rupert Neve Designs is a single channel, transformer-balanced microphone preamp that brings the features and performance of the full-sized Portico outboard rack units to the 500-series format. The 511 provides 66dB of gain, and a +/- 6dB Trim knob is provided for fine tuning. Texture can be added by pushing the Silk button, which activates dedicated circuitry. The desired amount of texture can be dialed in with a knob, which adds harmonic content–creating tones that are reminiscent of vintage Neve equipment.

    The 511 isn't limited to working with microphones. With the Gain knob set at 0 dB, the unit is capable of accepting line-level signals. Condenser microphones and active DI boxes can be powered by engaging the 48V phantom power button on the 511. An illuminated Polarity button inverts the signal when pressed. A variable High-Pass Filter can be engaged by an illuminated button as well, and a knob enables you to sweep between 20-250 Hz. An eight-segment LED meter allows you to visually monitor the output. A 500-Series power supply/rack is required for operation.

  • Rupert Neve Designs 551 Inductor EQ

    The 551 Inductor EQ from Rupert Neve Designs is a three-band EQ with custom-wound inductors, transformers, and class-A gain blocks. The low-frequency band on the 551 can be used as either a shelf or a peak filter, adding punch, dimension, and control to your low end. The 551's inductor midrange band is ideal for sweetening vocals and instruments while bringing them forward in a mix, and its proportional "Q" response makes it well suited for minimizing problematic frequencies. The high-frequency band is a hybrid vintage/modern design, blending inductor circuitry with capacitor-based topologies to achieve vintage tones with enhanced control. The high-pass filter is a 12 dB/octave design with a fixed 80 Hz frequency, and can be used in tandem with the low-frequency EQ to add low-end presence without clouding the source material.

    Both the high and low band can be switched from shelf to peak curves and offer 15 dB of boost or cut. The high band can be switched from 8 to 16 kHz, and the low band can be selected at 35, 60, 100, or 220 Hz. The inductor-based mid band offers six center frequencies: 200, 350, and 700 Hz, and 1.5, 3, and 6 kHz. The mid band also has an "MF Hi Q" switch to narrow the bandwidth (increase the Q) of the filter.

  • Rupert Neve Designs Portico 542 Tape Emulator

    The Portico 542 Tape Emulator from Rupert Neve Designs is a single-channel 500 series rack module that simulates the sound of analog tape, and adds texture to your audio with its dedicated Silk circuitry. The emulation of tape is achieved with analog hardware, as opposed to digital processing. The 542 features a "True Tape" circuit, which utilizes an authentic magnetic record head and a replay amplifier, giving the applied audio the warmth of tape compression. Texture can be added by pushing the Silk button, selecting Red or Blue mode, and adjusting a knob. This adds harmonic content that's reminiscent of vintage Neve equipment.

    Tape Effects can be added in by pressing an illuminated button. A Saturation knob enables you to dial in the amount of effects, and a Blend knob lets you mix the pre and post signals. A 15 / 30 IPS button lets you select between the emulations of those two tape-based characteristics. Two eight-segment LED meters are on the face of the 542, one dedicated to Drive, the other to Level. When your signal hits the yellow LED in the Drive meter, a Soft Clip functionality kicks in, protecting your signal from peaking. A 500-Series power supply/rack is required for operation.
