The Aladin MK II Broadcast Basic Setup Kit with Heden Motors from Chrosziel lets you remotely control focus, zoom, and iris of PL-mount, ENG, and similar lenses via serial RS connection, BNC connection, or optional wireless lens control equipment. The kit includes an Aladin MKII receiver/motor controller, three Heden M26VE lens motors, and all necessary hardware, cables, and accessories needed to connect and power the Aladin MK II system. Accessories include an extension interface base with modules for focus and zoom demands, 12-pin Hirose camera lens port module with connecting cable (AUX1 Lemo 10-pin to External Interface Lemo 8-pin), adapter cables for Canon and Fujinon focus and zoom remote demands, a 15mm/19mm mounting bracket, 12V XLR and D-Tap power cables, and three motor cables.

All settings of the Aladin MK II system can be altered via the buttons and built-in display on the main unit. In addition to focus, zoom, and iris control, the Aladin MK II supports camera functions like video return and talkback switching, focus/iris/zoom follow, digital RCP read out, and Tally. The camera operator's common remote demands can be used for focus, zoom, video return, and talkback operation. Adapter cables and wireless controls are available for crane, stabilizer, helicopter, and similar applications. For RCP control from the OB vehicle or serial control by the Aladin Iris hand control unit, further adapter cables are available. The lens motors can be controlled via standard lens control equipment, serial RS connection (via fiber adapters or serial cable), BNC connection, or wireless. The Aladin MK II can be powered via the power outlet of the fiber adapter or camera. Remote camera start/stop control is supported via Broadcast Zoom Demands or Aladin handcontroller.
