question

The spec sheet for this unit says it can be used at 230V mains supply. Do I need to use then another bulb for the modeling light? Or can the original 120V type stay in the unit, i.e. the voltage supply for the modeling bulb stays at 120V no matter which mains voltage has been connected?
Asked by: Udo
The Pro version power is universal. Can take 90-130/190-250V AC 60/50Hz. The internal power supply will convert the power for the modeling light. That will stay the same no matter the power input.

question

what's the difference between the 'gemini 500 pro' and the 'gemini 500 pro pw' ? are they not the exact same item ?
Asked by: CHARLES S.
the PW model is compatible with the pocket wizard triggering technology and the non-PW uses Bowens proprietary Pulsar trigger technology. Both have internal receivers, but one responds to Pocket Wizard and one responds to Pulsar
