The Mix Pack 5A from myMix contains the tools necessary to provide individual stereo mixes and multi-track recording for five musicians. Using up to 10 local inputs from myMix and 16 inputs from an IEX16L-A input expander, there are 26 audio channels to select from. All devices get connected with a CAT5 cable (not included) to the Power8 switch.

myMix Personal Monitor Mixing & Multitrack Recording System

The myMix Personal Monitor Mixing & Multitrack Recording System is a networked personal monitor mixing system that allows each user to create an individual local mix. The system is networked using standard Fast Ethernet (100Mb/s) switches. Each unit has 2 local inputs for microphone or line signals and a stereo master output..

The mixer unit is automatically detected on the network with its name and respective input channel. It can select individual audio channels from the network and mix up to 16 channels, which can be altered in volume, tone, panorama, solo, and mute.

Internal effects (6 reverb presets) can be added to each input signal. The stereo output signal can be sent to the network and is available on the balanced 1/4" jacks and on a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 4-band fully parametric EQ is available for the output signal. All settings of the mixer are automatically stored in profiles. Users can record the local mix as well as the individual network signals in multi-track as time stamped 24-bit WAV files on an optional SD/SDHC card. Sessions can be played back and remixed. Play Along allows mixing local inputs and tracks from the SD card.

This mixer unit is powered by the external PSU (power supply unit) or via POE (15W). The included imic stand adapter allows for easy mounting to the standard microphone stands.

myMix IEX-16L-A 16-Channel Input Expander for myMix Systems

The myMix IEX-16L-A 16-Channel Input Expander comes with two DB25 connectors and allows connection of up to 16 balanced line-level signals that can be fed from devices such as mixing consoles or external microphone pre-amps. The IEX16L-A comes with two 8-channel ADAT inputs that can be activated individually. This allows usage of 16 line level sources or 8 line level sources and 8 ADAT inputs, or 16 ADAT inputs on a single IEX-16L-A expander.

Multiple IEX-16L expanders can be used in a myMix network. The IEX-16L-A can be configured using any myMix device on the network or the optional myMix CONTROL software, including input channel naming and stereo linking. The configuration is stored automatically in the IEX-16L-A. The optional myMix CONTROL software allows uploading/downloading of complete settings for the IEX-16L-A expander. The expander can be locked by connecting a myMix to the CONFIG port, or via the myMix CONTROL. The CONFIG ports provide all the data but no audio. It can also be used to connect the myMix CONTROL network interface (myMIx PLUG).
