The GS110 GoSafe Dashcam from Papago! employs a 1.3MP image sensor to capture your commute or road trip in full 720p resolution at 30fps. A built-in microphone captures cabin audio, and it can be muted for privacy concerns or to save memory. Recording begins automatically when the car is turned on, and automatically overwrites the oldest files first when the memory is full. Footage is saved to a MicroSD card, and with a 32GB card installed more than 9 hours can be stored. When an accident is detected, those files are automatically overwrite protected, and as well, there is an Emergency button to manually protect the current file.
In addition to capturing your daily driving, the GoSafe has several passive driver safety features to help you avoid accidents. A driver fatigue alarm can be set to periodically go off to keep the driver awake on long drives. The camera can identify and register speed limit signs, and alert you if you are exceeding the posted limit. A headlight reminder notifies you when it's time to turn on your lights. Finally, a Stop-and-Go function signals an alert when the car in front of you has started moving, after you and it have been stopped for at least 10 seconds.
Even when you're parked, the GoSafe can still be on the job. If you've had the camera hard-wired to the car's electrical system, or if the accessory plug stays on when the ignition is off, it can be set Motion Detection Mode, and it will begin recording video when motion is detected in the camera's field of view.
