This particular lens is designed to fit the Canon EOS M and will not be compatible with the Canon 50D. Check out the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 for Canon: http://bhpho.to/1cZKUkX

Is this lens usable for cameras without an EVF, such as the Canon M100? That is, does the preview on the LCD viewfinder work just like the stock lens?
Asked by: Curtis
It should work just fine, though I've found that manual focus is easier, especially in bright conditions, with an EVF. When focusing a lens like this, you'll want to enable Focus Peaking in the camera's menu, as well as setting up the camera to take pictures without a lens, as this lens has no electronics and the camera will not see that it's there. The good news is that focusing an ultra-wide angle lens is very forgiving, especially if the aperture is stopped down a little, so it shouldn't be too hard to get images you're happy with. I have this lens myself and it's fun to use.

Has anyone used this lens on the canon m6 mark ll? Interested in how it handles the 32 mp sensor.
Asked by: Deborah
The Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Lens for Canon EF-M Mount (Black) has good center sharpness that softens up in the corners. It improves when stopped down. It may not be able to fully keep up with the Canon EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera, but for the price there really isn't anything better in this focal range.
