The Micro Four Thirds mount Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens was developed primarily for film and video applications. The cine version of Rokinon's 35mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring, and the aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them.

This lens is designed for use on Micro Four Thirds sensors and provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 70mm.. The optical construction incorporates two high refractive index elements and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion to produce sharper imagery. Additionally, a UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images.

Portrait-length, 70mm equivalent prime lens is ideal for portraiture and other situations that require a short telephoto perspective.
Fast T1.5 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and provides greater control over focus placement for shallow depth of field applications.
Two high refractive index elements and one aspherical element reduce chromatic aberrations in order to produce greater sharpness and clarity.
UMC coating improves light transmission and suppresses lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich, color-neutral images.
Geared aperture and focus rings are compatible with standard follow focuses for greater control over adjustment.
De-clicked aperture ring facilitates smooth, quiet exposure adjustments during recording.

35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good I bought the 3 lens set (24,35 and 85) in native MFT mount for use on the JVC LS300 and my two Pocket Cameras (I dislike adapters). All three of the lenses are well made, feel solid in the hand, mount perfectly to all the cameras, and the focus and iris gears feel very smooth, with just the right amount of tension. These ( plus the 12mm which I bought as well) match perfectly in color and contrast. As has been said, the 24 is the softest of the bunch, but not distractingly so. I've used many professional lenses over the years, and these Rokinon Cines rank right up there close to the high priced spread.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy Prosumer Acquired this for use with BMPCC. Obviously fairly long (95mm) for that camera, but useful for a variety of purposes. Be prepared to have a good support - it's hefty. Not useful handheld for moving images - at least with my hands - or at least expect to do stabilization afterward. I also got an ND filter to make better use of shallow depth of field - the focus is so smooth it kind of calls to you to use it in the shot. Same with the iris ring. I think I detect a tiny bit of play in the body that becomes visible during focus/aperture; this is obviously exaggerated on BMPCC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cine Lens for the Price Look up any youtube review of this glass set. (I have the 24mm, 35mm, 85mm set for my GH4) These lenses are phenomenal for the money. If you're going to get a glass set to start out with great build quality, these are the lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lens for the price I was a bit hesitant to buy this lens as it is manual focus, but I went ahead and bought it anyway. The build quality is superb and the lens is very sharp. I bought this for my black magic pocket cinema camera. --------------------

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Needed I just used this lens over Easter on my AF100a. I got it with MFT mount and works great. sharp and clear. already have the 85mm with cannon EF mount and agian works great as well. I use both for film shoots and documentary

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Lens For it's price in comparison to any other cinema lens the Rokinon primes are great. Solid form and sharp focus. The best part about these lenses are the geared focus and declicked aperture ring. These will be different for anyone who is used to shooting on a photo lens with IS and autofocus, but if you're primarily shooting video these are a great addition to your package. The build however could be better and it's unfortunate that you have to pay extra for focus and aperture marks to be on both sides of the lens barrel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Manual lend I bought this lens for my 21 year old so who is studying cinema photography and he loves it! I have to laugh as it's a manual focus lens; when autofocus first came out I was young and a purist, now I'm much older and need autofocus! Seems like a good buy! My son thinks so!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very nice lens, but... I like the price and the look of this lens. But, it seems to me a bit low quality image. I use this lens for documentary and wedding shootings, but I can't use this lens for commercial shootings, which is my priority shooting. The reason is that if I use other brands, such as Canon and Nikon, then the image quality is a lot better looks.
