ikan's Power Kit with Dual Rod Clamp for BMPCC provides a way to power your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera using an available camcorder type battery. This item is well suited for use by operators who already own Sony L type batteries and wish to use them to power their Blackmagic Pocket Camera.

The unit slides onto and clamps to LWS 15mm rods, and it comes pre-built and ready to go out of the box, just insert your battery and connect the unit to your camera via the coiled cable that provides about three feet of extension.

The included clamp securely attaches to LWS 15mm support rods.
The coiled cable extends to three feet in length when needed, and then collapses when less length is needed, this helps keeps extra length of cable from getting in your way when shooting.

Power Kit with Dual Rod Clamp for BMPCC (Sony L Type Battery Plate) is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lazy Engineering Lazy, lazy, lazy. Did I say how lazy the engineering was on this thing? All they did was take their standard adapter and put a small plug converter on the end. Their standard barrel connector is so big that the adapter to convert it to the smaller BMPCC power receptacle has to be very thick to get around the standard barrel so you CANNOT ATTACH AN HDMI CABLE!! I tried three different types. I should have returned it but I needed it for a shoot, so I went to the local electronics store, bought the right plug and soldered it on. They have a red LED to tell you that you have a battery attached. Why? I put it on there. I know it's there. So you can't store a battery attached to it as it will eventually drain it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent product Great product. I use it with my BMPCC and 4 L series Sony 750 batteries which I had from previous units. I can shoot for days without worrying about battery life. The only issue I had was the adapter that plugs into the BMPCC sticks out too far and I bent and eventually broke the tip off. I ended up directly soldering a new right angle plug on to it and it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to BMPCC This allows me to shoot all day without having change batteries every twenty minutes.
