Breathe new life into your Canon EF/EF-S-mount lens by using it on a fresh Sony E-mount camera with the Fotodiox Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter, which even features a built-in variable ND filter for added control over your exposure. The integrated ND filter of the Vizelex offers a 0.3 to 2.4 filter factor, which translates into a wide range of 1 to 8 stops. This makes the adapter ideal for videographers and photographers who may want to make quick adjustments to their filtration throughout the day. The ND filter can be used to lengthen the shutter speed or use larger apertures when working in bright sunlight. Also, the placement of the filter within the adapter means that switching lenses does not require users to fiddle with additional filters and it will even work with lenses that do not have a filter thread. Additionally, this filter is constructed of both brass and aluminum for a durable construction and precise fit with your equipment that guarantees infinity focus.

Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money I'm giving this product four stars for the fact that it saves money for those who need a quick solution. I have a Canon with several lenses. I bought a Sony mirrorless to travel around the streets with, but I like versatility. So I looked into adapters for EF-e-mount. This one caught my attention because of its price, ND filter built in and the fact that it doesn't have the bulky tripod mount on it. I do street photography with my Sony a6000 and being able to attach a Canon zoom without having to shell out money for an e-mount zoom lens, this adapter does the trick. Even though it's manual focus, it's still worth the purchase so that you can shoot with other solid glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update to my review below this one. First let me start by saying how amazing and fast the FotoDiox Pro team reacted to my problem. No more than two hours after sending an email describing the issue, I had both a phone call from Bohus Blahut and an email. It is now obvious that I had a defective unit and from what I understand the first one they had come across with this issue. I shipped it back to them and they covered the return cost and had new one back to me within a week and its beautiful and smooth and tight. So let me say I HIGHLY recommend this adapter and have to say that I would buy anything made by FotoDiox Pro knowing that they not only stand behind their products but beside the folks who use them. Did I mention Bohus is a really nice guy who has excellent taste in shirts too? Well he does. Thanks to BH for letting me post this review update as I know many folks like me always check the reviews before buying.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uneven lighting across frame The EF to FE fit is good, but on my Zeiss Distagon T* 21mm F/2.8 the lighting across the frame is very uneven. There are two wide dark vertical areas in the frame, one is partially in from the left and the other against the right edge. I does not matter what amount of darkness I dial in. I tried apertures from f2.8 to f22. Much better on my Canon 100mm 2,8 IS, but still uneven lighting on a few shots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product This is a great little product. This product fills a need providing your Sony E mount camera ND behind the lens. One of the draw backs to shooting on the Sony A7s ii for us is the lack of built in ND, especially if you want to shoot S-Log with a minimum iso of 1600. When we are on larger production and could use our matte box it is not a problem. But the beauty of the Sony A series cameras are their small form factor and the ease of use when on run and gun productions. With this little gem you can still shoot with your fast lenses opened up and use the built in ND that is attached to the adapter. The quality of the ND seems pretty good and color shift does not seem to be too prevalent. The adapter itself is of good quality and seems secure without too much play. My only complaint is they do not a version with the smart chip for focus confirmation for full frame sony E mount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Choice for Manual lenses! The comments here say it all, but I'd like to bring up one of my favorite features that I feel I like the most about this lens. Besides the built-in Variable ND filter, It actually works as a protector for your sensor once you start switching between lenses, especially outdoors, I always try to keep my expensive sensor clean of dust and moisture; sometime the important moment doesn't wait until you clean. I like also the build of it, it feels solid and well-built. I didn't notice any reduction of sharpness or color effect. What I didn't like actually was that you don't hear or feel the click when you attach the lens, it works well and is attached very well but I just feel there's something missing. You hear it clicks when you attach the adapter to the camera. This is for the Sony Slogs shooters: As you know, when shooting with Slog2/3, ISO @ 1600 is your minimum, sometimes it's impossible to focus precisely in day times, ND filters are a must have tool to produce HDR shots and focus better, and you can do it with wide open at F1.2 in very light situations with no problem at all , Even in night shots with Slog2/3, the shot has to be a bit overexposed to have less noise, so thses ND filters will help you do that even in low-light situations!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loose fitting and that makes me nervous! I bought this adapter to match up with my Rokinon Canon mount Cine Lenses. I use it on my FS100. I am satisfied with the variable ND on my manual lenses but not happy with the fit. I find the fit loose and the cine lenses visibly wobble and move when I hand hold the camera. I am going to write Fotodiox and complain. Maybe I got a lemon?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Adapter Overall solid adapter. Fits snug on my A7sii and has a fairly nice variable ND filter which comes in handy when shooting in Slog2 on a bright day. The only thing is its a manual adapter so if you have glass with auto focus and auto aperture adjust then you will not be able to change those controls. I still have my old canon body so I can change aperture on there if I need to. Overall good adapter. I would buy again.
