    Pelican 1920B Reviews

1920B MityLite LED Flashlight (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good pen light that got even better The original, 67 lumen, Pelican 1920 flashlight served me well for 2 years. I recently bought the newer dual mode, 120/12 lumen version and am delighted with it. This updated 1920 is noticeably brighter, has a generous amount of spill around the central beam, and throws that beam of light farther than the older version 1920. The tint is a pleasant creamy white and there are no objectionable artifacts. I use the lower level setting for close work, especially while indoors. I measured the Pelican 1920's current consumption from Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries at about 900 mA in high mode and 89 mA in low. The newer Pelican 1920 is about 1/4 inch longer than the original and just as well constructed. The pocket clip holds the light firmly in my shirt pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pelican has made some great Lights & Cases for a long time.. I have been using Pelican Flash Lights & Cases For Years. When I saw this product. I ordered it and wow am I glad I did! So many lights, in this class, are simply consumable and feel like it. This is the best combination of both Size & Function. The Tail switch take a Purposeful / Positive press. This ensures the batteries don't go FLAT by mistake. The Clip is firm and you feel confident it will be right were you put it. I have several other similar lights they all lack this Thoughtful constructions or quality. Buy some, you won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I purchased this flashlight when it was on sale, and am very happy with it, especially at the price I paid. The flashlight feels very solid despite its slender body and has a nice satin finish. The button at the back which controls the on/off state and light output clicks positively. I happened to get an offer on a similar tactical flashlight two days after I bought the 1920B MityLite, and bought that flashlight as well. Both have virtually identical dimensions and are powered by 2 AAA batteries. The unnamed tactical flashlight has one extra feature (a strobe mode), and according to the specifications it is about 10% brighter. In my testing there is a negligible difference in light output, and that may be purely due to the beam shape (both lights have similar, very even light output). However, the unnamed tactical flashlight was more than twice as much as the 1920B MityLite, and that was at a heavily discounted introductory price -- when it is officially released, it will cost more than four times what the 1920B costs. Overall, that makes the MityLite an absolute bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electronics repair I am employed as a Geek, in a Squad, at a major retailer. I work with a wide range of computer systems daily. This is the handiest tool in my arsenal. High intensity is perfect for looking around inside computer cases at the macro scale, while the low intensity is perfect for reading small print on circuit boards. This little guy is my EDC when I'm not at work to. It fits perfectly with my wallet and knife without being to bulky. Perfect for lighting up the work area at night. It's small and lightweight enough that if needed you can hold it in your mouth while your hands work. AAA's are cheap and readily available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from let there be light! Nice and compact so I carry it all the time. It is so bright that I rarely need anything bigger. Great for troubleshooting in dark areas. In case of a power failure, it;s right there ready to go It is solidly built and extremely bright for its size. I also like the low power setting. There is nothing I don't like about it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great EDC Light I've carried a flashlight now for a little over 2 years now and use one on a daily basis! I was getting tired of reliability issues with my mini mag and made the switch to the pelican 1920. What an AMAZING light!!!! For EDC purposes it doesn't get much better than this. Between durability, the very good pocket clip, the amount of light it puts out, ease of use, and the well respected warranty, this is one light that for $bucks you cant pass up!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff from Pelican I purchased this in hopes that it would be a good general use flashlight and it has met and exceeded all expectations. The same excellent quality that I have come to expect from Pelican!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great penlight It's good quality.. The only negative is the clip is very stiff and the lip is small so it's hard to clip on jeans compared to the 5.11 penlight
