Your Kowa TSN 880/770 spotting scope becomes a powerful telephoto lens with the TSN-PA7 DSLR Digiscoping Adapter. Unlike digiscoping systems that align a camera lens with a scope's eyepiece, the TSN-PA7 employs a T2 ring, so the scope attaches directly to your DSLR, mirrorless, or micro four-thirds camera body instead of a lens. Focus is manually controlled by the rings on the scope.

Using this adapter will enable your camera to harness the scope's full zoom range and provide up to 2570mm of focal length (35mm full frame equivalent) with the TE-11WZ eyepiece and up to 2750mm with the TE-10Z.

To mount the TSN-PA7 adapter, first thread the included collar ring directly onto the body of the scope, then replace the eyepiece. Next, attach the adapter to your camera body with the T2 ring. Finally, slide the camera/adapter assembly over the eyepiece of the scope and tighten the locking screws onto the collar to secure the connection. This configuration allows for quickly attaching and releasing your camera from your spotting scope. In this way, you can easily switch between viewing and photography modes.

Use of the TSN-PA7 requires a TSN-CM2 T2 ring for the appropriate camera body, sold separately.

TSN-PA7 DSLR Digiscoping Adapter for TSN 880/770 Spotting Scopes is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It just works Simple to set up, easy to use and very well made. If you use 700 or 800 series Kowa scopes for digiscoping and have the appropriate eye piece this is the only way to go. I use a dedicated body (Canon D70) for this and the body is always set up with the adaptor in place. Takes only seconds to attach when set up like this and you can go from viewing to photo very quickly. No dust issues once attached and with normal precautions (keeping things bagged and clean when not in use) you will have no problems. Very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great accessory for digiscoping I have been eagerly waiting for this to become available since reading about it's release earlier this year. It's a handy accessory if you have an eye piece already. Seems to be well designed and assembles quickly. Works really nice with my T-4i and seems to be super steady. Haven' tried it with a heavier camera yet. Did some test shots in the yard and got decent shots at high shutter speeds with a cable release. Will take it to the field to test out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If you can achieve focus, it's great Using my Canon 5DMkIII, I was not able to achieve sharp focus with this adapter. I was however able to achieve good focus using my Sony A7r2 camera with "in camera" focus help. -But this was still somewhat flakey, some of my shots came out good while others had soft focus. I did a comparison with photos and published it in my online web album here: https://mattfrancis.smugmug.com/Spotting-scope-vs-telephoto-lens/
